Yoga Practice teaches us to quiet the mind, listen, love and take care of our bodies. I work on five elements with my students; Connect, Breath, Move, Focus and Relax.
As a teacher, it is important that the kids feel at ease.
Yoga practice can:
- Enhance a child's capacity for emotional regulation,
- Focus and good decision making
- Center and calm themselves in any situation
- Find their strength and sense of being grounded and powerful
- Discover body sensation coming through the eyes, ears, nose, skin and tongue
- Sensing each feeling rising and falling
- Observe both inside and outside themselves
